Model 70BFM

Boat yard Hoists and Lifting Equipment
  • Heavy-duty construction. The mainframe is constructed of high strength, low alloy steel. All hydraulic tubing is stainless steel. And a pivot trunnion allows the side frames to rotate over uneven terrain in the yard – neutralizing structural stress under the load.
  • Forward front beam for more rigging clearance. The front beam is positioned forward of the front wheel center line, providing added clearance for bow rigging and foredeck structures. That enables precise positioning of the front sling for optimum load balance.
  • All slings are power adjustable for more versatility. Both sling sets are power adjustable form the operator’s compartment. The forward sling can be adjusted aft of the front beam for a better grip on sharply pitched hulls.
  • Four hoist winch design. Precise, independent hoist control at all four corners allows for rolling as well as tilting fore and aft. Employ the optional two-speed hoist feature and you can more than double the hoist speed of comparable models.
  • Strong, durable nylon slings. Long-lasting slings have a "quick disconnect" feature and an alternate end eye section for fast shortening up – helping you meet the challenges of differing hull shapes.
  • Large-diameter grooved hoist drums. Specially designed hoist drums provide long-lasting, uniform cable spooling and smooth, gentle hoisting action. A hydraulic motor with a direct-mounted automatic safety brake drives each gear reducer. In the event of a power failure, the safety brake can hold the load.
  • Direct connection of slings to sling blocks. The 70BFM features a built-in mechanical anti-two-block system for greater usable lifting heights. The diameter of roller bearing mounted sheaves is the recommended size, resulting in smoother hoisting action and longer rope life.
  • Orbital steering wheel control. With the 70BFM, you get fast two-speed drive and 90 degree pivot steering on the driving wheels. A canopy-covered operator compartment is positioned low for easy access. All instruments are easily viewed on the control panel. Also standard is an accurate load weight indicator (in lbs. and kg.) and an overload alarm system.
  • Designed for easy access and service. The low mount engine and hydraulic compartment is enclosed and does not obstruct your vision.
  • Rated lifting capacity 154,000 lbs. (70,000) kg.
