- The 500BFM Mobile Hoist . . .It's from
Marine Travelift!
Marine Travelift, the world leader in the
design and manufacture of mobile boat hoists, introduces you to the world's largest mobile
boat hoist. With a 500 ton capacity, a whole new market of marine service opportunities
and construction possibilities have been made available. The 500BFM is designed for boat
haul-out and yard maneuverability regardless of tides . . .with a minimum haul-out crew.
The open-end design offers easier and faster boat loading and unloading. Full power
hoisting and travel means
marina and shipyard operators can take advantage of maximum yard utilization without tying
up their dock area
and missing additional service revenue. Boat builders can utilize the 500BFM hoist's
versatility to assist in
boat construction and yard transport.
Quality, heavy duty construction . . . It's what you expect from Marine Travelift!
there's much more to the 500BFM than meets the eye. The super structure is made of high
strength, low alloy steel fabricated into square tubular sections and reinforced with over
85,000 lbs. of inner beam stiffening supports designed to meet or exceed the American
Institute of Steel Construction standards.
An extra heavy-duty structural pivot trunnion system permits the side frame to rotate
slightly over uneven terrain to neutralize structural stress under load. It's just another
design feature that improves maneuverability and yard utilization.
